The ground floor of the house was extended by 3 metres along the full width at the rear of the house to create a new kitchen and lounge area, a new laundry and study plus a new second toilet. The existing bathroom was refurbished, and 40m² of new matai flooring was laid.
We created a new ensuite from an existing study on the first floor. A large deck was built onto the back of the house and this was covered with clearlite roofing.
The clients were able to live in the house during the entire project.
This house has been used several times in television commercials, including a heat pump advertisement featuring Dan Carter.
